General Information (pvc-u products)

  • PVC-U profiles are extruded by Synseal to BS 7413 from impact modified 100% virgin poly-vinyl chloride (unplasticised)
  • All windows and doors are manufactured by Southern Glass Windows & Conservatories Ltd under an independently audited quality system BS EN ISO 9001 (formerly BS 5750) to which Southern Glass Windows & Conservatories Ltd is officially accredited Cert. No. 632/94

  • All frame sections including transforms, mullions and all casements and fanlights are reinforced with continuous aluminium or steel sections

  • Double glazing units are constructed from Pilkingtons® glass hermetically sealed by a 'hot melt process' and have been independently tested to BS EN 1279 

  • Glazing to all windows, doors and conservatories is in compliance with BS 6202/BS 6262

  • Door locks exceed all minimum requirements laid down by the Association of British Insurers
